5 Success Benchmarks for Mid Lifers

Risk taking a step or staying put … sameness is debilitating especially when you are ‘stuck’. You are often ‘stuck’ because you can’t get yourself to take a step “beyond” because you are afraid of what might happen. The “fear” outweighs any “reward” in your eyes. Pity. Taking a step doesn’t have to be lonely. You can seek help from someone who will step with you … guide you along the path that you desire. Think Beyond … your thinking can be contained [or trapped] within a box … a box where the key has been lost. So your thoughts are restricted, they have boundaries. And when you send them out, looking for solutions, they bounce off the walls of this box and return to you as an echo … again & again. Thinking beyond will start to crack the walls of this “box” and penetrate into wider spaces. Solutions will become more abundant and your thoughts more vibrant! Have a back up plan … Plan B is essential. All your effort goes toward your “something”. If that doesn’t work then what happens? You are a 40 something, you have a lot ahead of you. And a lot to excite you. Plan A may not work first time, Plan B can be a revisitation of Plan A. What I’m really trying to reinforce is this … don’t have the Big Master plan without any fallback. The ‘Master Plan’ may not be a step by step directory of how your life “will” be. It may be your major dreams, goals or aspirations or even being in the Big flow of Life. Remember, things don’t always go to plan, so never give up ... that’s the bottom line here. If your plan[whatever that is for you] is big enough, then it deserves to be seen through
