Here are some of my random tips for having a life you enjoy, rather than one you dread: 1. Have me time. I don’t care if it’s 10 minutes a day, an hour, two hours. But take it. Take that me time for yourself. You need it, and everyone in your life needs you to have it. 2. Just sit and think sometimes. Write down your thoughts if you want. Pray. Meditate. 3. Say no to things you really don’t want to do. Sometimes I think I don’t want to do certain things (like when someone needs help with something) but I truly do want to help, so I do it. But if I really feel it’s a waste of time or in vain, I will say no. This has been a life long learning process for me, learning to say no. 4. Don’t do anything that isn’t absolutely necessary. This kind of goes along with #3, however, it applies to saying no to yourself sometimes as well. For instance, say no to getting distracted on facebook for an hour and you don’t know where the time went. There is too much clutter and distractions in life that aren’t important. Take those things out of your life. 5. Get rid of stuff. This kind of goes along with #4, however, it applies to actual physical objects. Most of us (especially Americans) have waaaaaay too much stuff. Once a week go through one drawer, one cabinet, one closet, etc and get rid of stuff you don’t need. Trash it
